On Sept. 29, 2011, the House Appropriations Committee introduced a draft bill that eliminates the Corporation for National and Community Service and several cost effective programs that benefit Habitat — including AmeriCorps, VISTA and NCCC. CNCS is critical to the success of Habitat for Humanity affiliates around the country so we need your voice to help ensure that vital national service programs continue to receive the support they deserve.
